The grapevine’s buzzing that the blowout rock band, The Stombolers, will possibly headline to open Pierre’s new nightclub at Atlantica, the exclusive deep-sea resort on Jupiter’s moon, Europa. Pierre, the club’s owner, wouldn’t confirm the headliner, only to say to watch for news on the opening soon. No one in the band would comment either when asked recently—not that they were in any shape to respond. However, Sly Rocks, the band’s lead guitarist, winked at this reporter when asked about the appearance during an interview while vacationing on Luna’s new cruiseship, Cer Whisperer. (More next month about the Cer, which just launched and orbits Ceres, and who else was spotted with whom.) This reporter wasn’t surprised when Rocks offered his famous wink and no comment a second time when questioned about his cozy relations with model Char Stevens. We’ll just have to stay tuned to see what happens.
